HOUSTON, Tx. About 90 racers who attended every SFG Promotions event in 2019 were exclusively entered into the race for the dragster, and in the end, Will Holloman came out victorious. This special race was held at Darlington Dragway as part of SFG’s World Series of Bracket Racing event, which is highlighting a guaranteed $200,000 payout to a single winner on Saturday.

“This was an actual giveway, just out of the kindness of their heart. It’s hard to find that,” says Holloman, just moments after his big win. In his post-race interview on MotorMania TV, Holloman went on to thank Chris Reynolds, Chris Wilson, Marco Abbruzi, American Racecars, Scott and Nicole Lemen, Drag Race Solutions, and Collector Tethers.

After Holloman’s win, Kyle Riley of SFG also appeared on MotorMania TV as he thanked each of the racers who earned an entry into the event, and explained, “they ask why race SFG, and this is the reason why.” Riley then went on to thank each of the companies that made the awarded giveway dragster possible by: FTI Performance, FuelTech USA Tech, Wilson Race Engines, LLC, JEGS Performance, Mickey Thompson Performance Tires & Wheels, BRODIX Cylinder Heads, Lindsay Racing Products,Riggeals Performance Fiberglass, Todds Extreme Paint, K&R Performance, Penske Racing Shocks, and May Race Carbs.

● Bryson Scruggs
● Will Holloman
● Ricky "Bulldog” Adkins
● Scotty Richardson
● Cameron Manuel
● Travis Laster

In the quarter-finals, Manuel started the round with a .029 light, and a dead-on the dial run, to take the win by .005 seconds over Adkins who was .018 tree, and ran .016 above his dial. Next up, Richardson earned the bye-run to the finals after Laster red-lit. To close out the round, Holloman was .001 on the tree, and .007 above his dial to beat Scruggs who was .020 on the tree, before breaking out by .010.

In the semi-finals, Manuel went red against Holloman, setting the stage for Holloman and Richardson to race for the dragster in the final-round.

In the final, Manuel left the starting line with a .013 light in his dragster from the Drag Race Results stable before running .013 above his dial-in to take the win over Richardson by .002 seconds.

ABOUT SFG PROMOTIONS, INC
“What is SFG and where did it come from?” you ask. SFG is the brainchild of racer and promoter Kyle Riley. “I had a vision to offer racers the chance to race for big money that the average racer could not afford, but I give God all the credit for the idea because it was sent from God,” states Riley. Riley also adds, “Until SFG came about your average racer couldn’t afford the chance to run for 50k or 100k because it was out of their price range.
I wanted your everyday bracket racer to know what it feels like to stage up for that kind of money. A lot of people think I’m crazy, but I’ve always felt it’s better to give than to receive. The racers have really supported SFG in its first years, so I want to show them that I really appreciate their support so I raised the payouts and lowered the entry fees. Everyone will see the better SFG does the more the racer will benefit from our success.” For more on the World Series of Bracket Racing and SFG Promotions, visit www.racesfg.com or contact Kyle Riley at (708) 921-5737 or kyle@racesfg.com.

BLOOMFIELD CASHES IN FOR $200,000 AT SFG WORLD SERIES OF BRACKET RACING
SFG World Series of Bracket Racing: Saturday Results

DARLINGTON, SC. (Nov. 2, 2019): After nine rounds of hard fought racing at Darlington Dragway, a winner was crowned in the SFG World Series of Bracket Racing main event. Mikey Bloomfield won the $200,000 payday after Chris Dixon redlit by .007 seconds in the final-round around 9:00pm tonight.

“It’s great to get out of the slump,” said Bloomfield when asked about the big win. Bloomfield then thanked his father, the Williams brothers, FTI, and Nesbitt before he admitted, “I know I’m forgetting people, I’m still- in awe of the victory.” Finally, he thanked Hank and WTR as he shouted with joy, grasping the $200,000 winners check in his hands.

The $200,000-to-win main event runner-up, Dixon, thanked his parents as he explained that they’ve had the car he drove since he was 5 years old. He also thanked his wife and kids, friends Ronnie and Austin, Flowtech Plumbing, and the SFG team. “It’s a lot of money for not as much entry fee,” said Dixon before he wrapped up his interview with a special birthday shout out to his 15 year old son, Brooks.

As racing was underway, Kyle Riley and the SFG team were dressed in their Halloween attire as they fellowshipped with racers and began judging their Halloween costume contest at the SFG “Fun Zone” canopy. The winner of the costume contest will receive a free entry to SFG’s 1.1 Million dollar race next season. Pictured below is Riley dressed as the Black Panther, alongside SFG team member, Austin Truhler who was the last costume Walmart had on the shelf.

The SFG Breakfast of Champions, Presented by Cracker Barrel was also hosted earlier this morning as part of SFG’s initiative to provide their racers with the best experience possible.

On the racetrack, four dragsters and four door cars were left standing in the quarterfinals.

Chris Dixon and Chris Bear started off the quarterfinal round in their doorcars, as Dixon was .004 on the tree en route to a round win after Bear was .003 red.

Shortly after, Shawn Carpenter was also red on the starting line (-.004), giving the round win to Kelly Hicks.

Next to go to battle were the dragsters of Bloomfield and Tim Thomas. A slight pre-staging duel occurred between the pair as both gentlemen sat about 30 seconds at the ready line before finally bumping in. Once the tree dropped, Bloomfield went .006 on the tree, and .008 above his dial to beat Thomas’ .015 reaction time and .007 breakout run.

John Brown and Tom Dauber were the final pair of the quarterfinal round. Brown was .027 on the tree and .009 over the dial to take the win over Dauber’s .020 light and .010 breakout.

In the semi-finals, the two remaining door cars of Dixon and Hicks faced off, with Dixon taking the round win with a .013 light and .003 over the dial (6.61) run. Hicks was .015 on the tree and ran .022 over his 5.13 dial to be .021 seconds behind at the finish line.

Next were the two remaining dragsters: Bloomfield and Brown. Bloomfield was .008 on the tree and .024 above his dial, beating Brown who missed the tree with a .053 light, followed up by a 4.573 run on his 4.46 dial-in.

In the ninth and final round, Dixon in the door car was .007 red giving the win to Bloomfield, who was ready with a .001 reaction time.

After the $200,000-to-win race was completed, Thursday’s Fuel Tech $50,000-to-win race continued for a few minutes before SFG made the call to stop the race due to safety concerns. The race was then cancelled with the purse being split between all round one and re-entry round winners as those were the only rounds completed.

The 2nd Fuel Tech $50,000-to-win race will be contested on Sunday with new entry time runs to start at 9:00am. A livestream will be available at MotorManiaTV.com.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

RANDY SCHEUER JR. CLAIMS $50,000 TO CLOSE OUT SFG WORLD SERIES OF BRACKET RACING
SFG World Series of Bracket Racing: Sunday Results

DARLINGTON, SC. (Nov. 3, 2019): Following a week of unforeseen circumstances from rain delays, to glass shattering on track, the SFG World Series of Bracket Racing came to a successful close with it’s second Fuel Tech $50,000-to-win race on Sunday. Randy Scheuer Jr. found himself in the winner’s circle with the $50,000 check, after fighting through nine rounds of racing, and ultimately defeating Eric Thomas in the final.

“I’ve had a rough year, but it ended on a high note just like I wanted it to,” said Scheuer in his winners circle interview. “I’ve got to thank everybody who allows me to do this. SFG, my wife, my kids, all my sponsors, Abruzzi, Penske, Moser, APD, Wiseco, American, Mickey Thompson, Bear Motorsports, and everyone else that I may have forgotten.”

The $50,000 race runner-up, Thomas, said “first off I’d like to thank God…also I’d like to thank my wife and my kids at home. They watched but had to leave. I’d like to thank my brother here, and my brother at home and all the boys that work at home and let us do what we get to do. I’d like to thank my mom and dad. If it weren’t for them, I wouldn’t be here.”

Looking back at the money rounds of the race, seven racers were left standing in the quarterfinals.

On the door car side of the quarterfinals ladder, Max Brewer and Matt Westin squared off, with the winlight going to Brewer after Westin went .001 red.
Eric Thomas followed the pair, taking the quarterfinal bye-run.

Next up, the dragster side of the quarterfinals ladder brought out Lane Dicken and Ken Batchelor. Dicken was .014 on the tree, and .020 above his dial to take the win over Batchelor.

To close out the round, Chris Reynolds (car owner of Will Holloman, who won the Dragster Shootout earlier in the week) faced Scheuer. Scheuer was .010 on the tree, and .008 above his dial to beat Reynolds.

In the semi-finals, Thomas came out with a 300 foot burnout before going to battle with
Brewer. Unfortunately, Brewer flickered the staging beams once the tree was activated, turning on the red light and giving the win to Thomas.

The dragster race in the semi-finals ended in a similar fashion as Dicken went .001 red to give the win Scheuer.

In the final, Thomas ripped off another 300 foot burnout and slowly backed up to the starting line before staging for the final round of the weekend with Scheuer. Once the tree dropped, Scheuer posted .025 light and went 4.694 on a 4.68 dial to take the win over Thomas. Thomas was .013 on the tree, but missed the dial going 5.104 on a 5.07 dial-in.

Off the racetrack, winners of the SFG Halloween costume contest were also decided:
· 1st place: Kick Booty Motorsports (will receive a free entry into the 2020 $1.1 Million Dollar Main Event)
· 2nd Place: Tucker Creech (will receive a free entry into the 2020 SFG500 Main Event)
