Cash, Fun, Breakfast, and Accommodations On Tap at JEGS-SFG 1.1 Million

CHICAGO, IL. (Jun. 23, 2020): The time has finally come for the highest paying drag race in the history of our sport. In just a handful of days, the JEGS-SFG 1.1 Million will come to life at U.S. 131 Motorsports Park, with the $20,000-to-win ($100 entry) JEGS warm-up race starting June 29th. SFG Promotions CEO, Kyle Riley and his diligent team have worked tirelessly to bring this vision into reality, despite the challenges that the world has faced over the past few months.

Although fans won’t be allowed at this inaugural event per CDC guidelines, SFG has worked to provide both racers and those who watch the event online with the best experience possible through a number of efforts.

Racers will be allowed to continue to enjoy the Hansen Global Breakfast of Champions prepared by Cracker Barrel with a slight modification from the norm. Each racer will pick up their breakfast and eat in their own pit area to observe social distancing.

Racers will also enjoy a shower trailer for the first time at an SFG event, with showers available starting Tuesday, June 30th.

RV pump trucks will be onsite to maintain units throughout the weekend, pumping out gray water and bringing in fresh water to provide racers a hassle free experience.

Both racers and those watching from home will also be treated with the voices of NHRA’s Brian Lohnes and SFG’s Hank Mulligan throughout the race week. In a new addition to the livestream, we will debut a tower camera so you can see the announcers as they call the action! Online viewers can catch all of the action on MotorMania TV which will allow you to witness every moment of this historic event from anywhere in the world.

In an effort to speed up the registration process, racers should plan to pay as you go for all entries and buybacks with cash, check or credit card. There will be no tabs at the event as they cause unnecessary backups at the end of the weekend. There will be no
additional charges assessed to customers who choose to pay by credit card.

ABOUT SFG PROMOTIONS, INC: SFG is the brainchild of racer and promoter, Kyle Riley. “I had a vision to offer racers the chance to race for big money that the average racer could not afford, but I give God all the credit for the idea because it was sent from God,” states Riley (SFG stands for Sent From God). Riley adds, “until SFG came about, your average racer couldn’t afford the chance to run for $50k or $100k because it was out of their price range.

I wanted your everyday bracket racer to know what it feels like to stage up for that kind of money. A lot of people think I’m crazy, but I’ve always felt it’s better to give than to receive. The racers have really supported SFG in its first years, so I want to
show them that I really appreciate their support so I raised the payouts and lowered the entry fees. Everyone will see the better SFG does the more the racer will benefit from our success.”
