Champ Claims Final $100K
win at JEGS SFG Superbowl of Bracket Racing
HARTSVILLE, SC. (September, 23 2021): On Sunday night, the SFG Promotions
team crowned the final winner of the weekend, Stephen “Champ” McCrory,
driving the Overkill Motorsports dragster as the Hansen Global, Inc. $100K
winner at the 2021 JEGS SFG Superbowl of Bracket Racing presented by
Mickey Thompson Performance Tires & Wheels.

In the semi-final round, McCrory was joined by “Nasty” Nick Hastings, and
Thomas Marlow.
Semifinals:
Hastings took on Marlow in the first pair of the semi-final round. Marlow
had problems at the starting line and ran way above, causing Nick to
complete his pass for the win light to move on to the final round.
McCroy had the bye run to the final. He took his single pass and was .013
and ran dead-on two. Lane choice for the final went to Hastings with his
.008.

Finals:
In the finals, Hastings was .016 and broke out running a 6.047 on a 6.05
dial-in. McCroy was .015 and ran dead-on five to pick up the Hansen
Global, Inc. $100K final round win.
ABOUT SFG PROMOTIONS, INC: SFG is the brainchild of racer and promoter,
Kyle Riley. “I had a vision to offer racers the chance to race for big
money that the average racer could not afford, but I give God all the
credit for the idea because it was sent from God,” states Riley (SFG
stands for Sent From God). Riley adds, “until SFG came about, your average
racer couldn’t afford the chance to run for $50k or $100k because it was
out of their price range.
I wanted your everyday bracket racer to know what it feels like to stage
up for that kind of money. A lot of people think I’m crazy, but I’ve
always felt it’s better to give than to receive. The racers have really
supported SFG in its first years, so I want to show them that I really
appreciate their support so I raised the payouts and lowered the entry
fees. Everyone will see the better SFG does, the more the racer will
benefit from our success.”
